The Trust for Developing Communities commissioned me to make a video highlighting some of the work being done to support Black & Minority Ethnic communities in Brighton & Hove. Under tight deadlines, I worked with a number of community groups to create this short film which was met with applause at their annual BME engagement event in April 2016. I also photographed the event for them.
Project Manager Lyndsay Macadam very kindly said of the decision to hire me: "Lyndsey is our first choice to work with as she has such a great understanding of the aims and objectives of the charity sector. She is able to communicate well with participants when she is taking photographs and filming video footage and interviews, putting them at ease and drawing out a natural, interesting and accurate portrayal of the desired subject matter."
