Old Tree Brewery
Old Tree Brewery is a local organisation which makes fermented drinks. I attended a workshop at Brighton's ONCA Gallery to learn how to make kombucha and kefir. The workshop was a pilot held by the Old Tree Brewery to try out their co-production scheme.

Race Hill Community Orchard
Brighton has dozens of projects encouraging people to eat better and be healthier. These include a number of orchards. These pictures are from a foraging tour I attended on the Race Hill Community Orchard, an initiative of the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership.

Stanmer Park Orchard
Stanmer Park Orchard is managed by the Brighton Permaculture Trust. I was invited on a tour of the orchard at blossom time and was able to capture some of the beauty of the trees.

The Greenhouse @Emmaus
The Greenhouse @Emmaus is a garden shop with a difference. One of many social enterprises based at the Emmaus site in Portslade, The Greenhouse is a carefully curated selection of plants and garden paraphernalia, most of it second-hand and donated by members of the public. The proceeds from the shop are reinvested into the Emmaus community. I was involved since the project launched in 2012 and I was recently engaged to help with merchandising, PR and marketing to grow awareness of the Greenhouse and to increase the customer base.
